Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are possible only with your express consent. You may withdraw consent you have already given at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew your consent.
Right to object to data collection in particular situations and to direct marketing (Article 21 GDPR)
IF DATA IS PROCESSED ON THE BASIS OF ARTICLE 6(1)(e) OR (f) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME, ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THOSE PROVISIONS. THE LEGAL BASIS FOR EACH PROCESSING ACTIVITY IS SET OUT IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS THE PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING IS NECESSARY FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ARTICLE 21(1) GDPR).
WHERE YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR SUCH MARKETING. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL NO LONGER BE PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION UNDER ARTICLE 21(2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of a breach of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. This right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive data that we process by automated means on the basis of your consent or in order to perform a contract, or to have it provided to a third party, in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request that the data be transferred directly to another controller, this will take place only where technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries you send to us as the website operator, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the change from “http://” to “https://” in your browser's address bar and by the padlock symbol in the browser bar.
When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Access, erasure and rectification
Within the scope of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain information, free of charge, about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of its processing. Where applicable, you also have the right to have this data rectified or erased. You may contact us at any time using the address provided in the legal notice if you have questions about this or other matters relating to personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data. You may contact us at any time using the address provided in the legal notice to exercise this right. The right to restriction of processing applies in the following circumstances:
- If you dispute the accuracy of the personal data we hold about you, we will generally need time to verify it. You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data while this verification takes place.
- If the processing of your personal data is or was unlawful, you may request restriction of its processing instead of erasure.
- If we no longer need your personal data but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of its processing instead of erasure.
- If you have objected under Article 21(1) GDPR, your interests must be weighed against ours. Until it has been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, that data may, apart from storage, be processed only with your consent, for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
Objection to marketing emails
We object to the use of contact details published as part of our legally required legal notice to send unsolicited advertising and information materials. The operators of this website expressly reserve the right to take legal action if unsolicited advertising is sent, for example in the form of spam emails.

Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files and do not damage your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies). Session cookies are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Persistent cookies remain on your device until you delete them yourself or your web browser deletes them automatically.
In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device when you visit our website (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services provided by the third-party company, such as cookies used to process payment services.
Cookies serve various purposes. Many cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions, such as a shopping basket or video playback, would not work without them. Other cookies are used to analyse usage behaviour or display advertising.
Cookies required to carry out electronic communications (necessary cookies), provide certain functions you have requested (functional cookies, for example for a shopping basket), or optimise the website (for example cookies used to measure website audiences) are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure the technically sound and optimised provision of its services. Where consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the cookies concerned are stored exclusively on the basis of that consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set, allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, exclude cookies in particular cases or altogether, or delete cookies automatically when the browser is closed. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
If cookies from third-party companies or cookies for analytical purposes are used, we will provide separate information about them in this privacy policy and, where applicable, request your consent.
Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. This information comprises:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not combined with data from other sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in ensuring that its website is displayed correctly and optimised. Server log files must be recorded for this purpose.
Enquiries by email, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, we will store and process your enquiry, including all resulting personal data, such as your name and the details of your enquiry, for the purpose of dealing with your request. We will not disclose this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries addressed to us effectively (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), where this has been requested.
The data you send us in connection with contact enquiries will remain with us until you request its erasure, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing it no longer applies, for example after your enquiry has been fully dealt with. Mandatory legal provisions, in particular statutory retention periods, remain unaffected.
5. Plugins and tools
Google Web Fonts
This website uses web fonts provided by Google to ensure consistent font display. The Google Fonts are installed locally. No connection to Google's servers is established for this purpose.
For further information about Google Web Fonts, please visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
OpenStreetMap
We use OpenStreetMap on our directions page to display our location. The provider is the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom.
The interactive map is initially disabled. Map images are requested from the mapping service only after you click “Show Map”, or if your permission has already been stored for your browser. We serve the Leaflet files used to display the map through our own website.
When map images are requested, the mapping service receives your IP address and technical request information, such as browser information, the time of the request and the requested map sections. Our map integration does not automatically request your device’s GPS location.
Activating the map and transmitting the associated personal data are based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, using the withdrawal link at the end of this privacy policy. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You can continue to use our postal address and written directions without consenting to the map.
We store your permission in the session cookie “mapconsent”. It contains your permission choice and is deleted when you withdraw consent. Storing and reading this technically necessary cookie serves to implement your choice (Section 25(2), point 2, of the German TDDDG).
The OSMF is based in the United Kingdom, which is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision. According to the OSMF, map images are delivered through a global server network, so processing outside the EU or EEA is possible. Further information about the OSMF’s processing of personal data is available in its Privacy Policy.
Your consent to loading maps by OpenStreetMap-Karten is stored in a local cookie named mapconsent. You can revoke your consent at any time by clicking this link.
